Carolyn Wright Grayson was born in on January 10, 1943 to Thomas and Marie Wright. In 1955 she migrated to . She attended . Later she was married and moved to . She is the mother of 5 children. She divorced and re-married to Reverend Kenneth E. Grayson in 1979. She remained married until 2001 when he passed away. She attended in for Early Childhood Development. She worked as a lead teacher at the YWCA. She received her CDA and later worked as Baby Nurse and Nanny. She was First Lady of Liberty Baptist Church. Afterwards, her and her husband moved to where her parents resided. They joined under the pastorage of Reverend Jasper William. In 1997, after her husband was no longer able to attend church, She joined the under the pastorage of Bishop James Morton who was a friend of the family since 1985. She is currently a deacon, Choir Member, and in the Nursing Home Ministry at New Beginning. In the words of Carolyn Grayson: I love the Lord, He heard my cry, and pitied every groan.
