am a Colorado native, who came from a family of poverty. My upbringing was harsh, as I was faced with many challenges in school, and at home. I met my ex-husband at a young age, and together we continued to face poverty and struggled for many years.

When I had my son at the age of 25, he inspired me to offer him better learning opportunities that I never had.

Then I had my daughter at the age of 29, and I realized I needed to change our family poverty paradigm for both kids, for them to have even better

opportunities. We are now changing that poverty path and would not be

where we are today if it weren't for the love and support from my love Eric. I am and will be forever grateful to him.

When my kids were little, I would strive every day to make everything a learning possibility for both children, as we counted steps on staircases and objects, recognized shapes everywhere, and read words anywhere we saw

them. We made weekly trips to the library and checked out the max limit of books, which was 20. Then we would go home, and I would read to them all the books in one night.

My children's curiosity and growth inspired me to write about our many adventures and challenges we faced together. Creating books and having

them published, shows my children that if you are persistent, work hard, and do not give up, dreams do come true!

Everything I do in life is for my kids. They are my life, my air, and my happiness!

My book is a children's book, geared towards babies and toddlers.
