The baby is later vaccine damaged and becomes severely handicapped. A legal case is brought against the drug manufacturers. The child is one of a group of handicapped children who are miraculously healed during a historical re-enactment of a pilgrimage to a re-discovered Saxon saint, arousing the suspicion and dislike of the religious and medical establishments.
