Autorenporträt
Andreas de Bruin (Prof. Dr.) is the founder and head of the Munich Model »Mindfulness and Meditation at University« - one of the first programs in Europe to offer university classes in mindfulness and meditation for educational credits (ECTS). In addition to the regular courses, he also runs projects for (former) students, teaching staff, and university employees. To share his experiences, de Bruin works closely with other universities in Germany and abroad. De Bruin's main fields of research and teaching are mindfulness and meditation, in particular the effects of these practices on the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social levels. He started his own meditation practice in 1991.
