Thomas has begun his 2nd career as an author of erotic historical fiction and mystery novels. The first offerings, The Ming Inheritance and Jim Thompson Is Alive!, are books one and two in the Sam Collins Mystery Series. Thom's most recent novel has has been recently released. The Chiang Mai Chronicle: A Declan Power Mystery is a sexy historical read steeped in political intrigue. This novel follows Declan Power, an intrepid reporter for the Chiang Mai Chronicle, as he falls fast on the track of a mass murderer while matching wits with a maniacal character with imperial ambitions. As with the Sam Collins Mysteries, exotic Thailand comes alive. In 2013, Thom will undertake a project set on the other side of the world. This series of novels is tentatively titled The Cape Cod Chronicles. As with the Sam Collins Mysteries this series will be a character study of a person trying to put their life back together. This life transformation will occur on and around the Cape and will introduce the reader to the locales and intrigue which has made the Cape such an alluring tourist destination.
