About The Author Marc Brookhuis, dharma name Jikan, has been extensively engaged in Zen meditation and Eastern philosophy for more than 25 years. He followed much of his Zen training at Zentrum Utrecht, The Netherlands. He also spent several weeks practising Vipassana meditation at Wat Suanmokh (a monastery in Thailand). Besides his work as a Zen teacher, Marc is a mental coach and the author of several books on Zen, mindfulness and Eastern philosophy.
