The "miserable people", despite their different positions and minds, differ according to their stages and deeds. Some of them are those who are observed by providence and are created happy and well-off from the cradle to the grave, but they are afflicted with one of the ills that befall the miserable, because of which they become miserable, regardless of their rank, high position, knowledge, or luck. Among them are those who are blessed with luck and wealth, but in need of an object, they find themselves intensely longing to obtain it, and all their inclinations are diverted to it, and if they do not obtain it, they become distressed. If we consider him miserable, it is only because he aspires to a wish, and the opportunity is not available to him, and we estimate his soul's inclinations for this wish according to the degree of his misery and unhappiness, no matter how rich he is and no matter how happy he is. Some of them are happy with their wealth. They give and give alms while they are in security, peace and prosperity. They give and give, but after a while this blessing disappears from them and they become poor and miserable. Some of them are created happy; It is as if he is the son of a king or a prince who enjoys all the means of wealth, happiness, and prosperity, and assumes kingship after his father, except that he is afflicted with a disease that accompanies him from time to time. He eliminates the reasons for his happiness. Some of them are happy at times and poor at other times, and this is also among the miserable.
