Autorenporträt
Prof. Hung Nguyen Xuan (H. Nguyen-Xuan) (Corresponding author) is Director of CIRTech Institute, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), Viet Nam. He received his Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics from The University of Liège (Belgium) in 2008. He has collaborated with leading research institutions and universities around the world such as National University of Singapore (NUS), Bauhaus-University Weimar (Germany), University of Cincinnati (USA), Cardiff University (UK) and Ghent University (Belgium), etc. He is currently an adjunct professor at The University of Southern Queensland (Australia), a visiting professor at Sejong University (South Korea) and China Medical University (Taiwan). He is President of Vietnam Association of Computational mechanics. His researches focus on Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) for advanced development of robust computational methods with high performance computing in combination with machine learning, material and structural modeling and 3D-printing. He published more than 170 peer-reviewed papers. Dr. Nguyen-Xuan received the prestigious award, Georg Forster Research Award, and the others.  Prof. Lien Tran Van is The Secretary General of Vietnam Association of Mechanics. He received his PhD in Applied Mechanics at the National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE - Vietnam) in September 2003. He is full professor at NUCE, visiting professor at Ecole des Pontes, Paris Tech (2010). His researches are focused on Computational Solid Mechanics. His research topics include modelling and analysis of structures; crack identification using non-destructive testing methods; inverse problems in mechanics of solids; and safety, reliability and risk analysis of structures. He is interested in developing analytical and numerical (Finite Element Method, Dynamic Stiffness Method and Interval Finite Analysis. etc.) methods and their applications to analysis of structures made of advanced materials. Prof. Khiem Nguyen Tien is The President of Vietnam Association of Mechanics. He received diploma Candidate of Sciences at Belorussian State University (1987) and degree Doctor of Sciences at Institute of Mathematics, Ukraine National Academy of Sciences (1992). Dr. Khiem works as senior researcher at Institute of Mechanics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and Professor at Hanoi Vietnam National University (VNU), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and Graduate University of Science and Technology (GUST) of VAST. He was Visiting Professor at Ecole Polytechnique, Paris and Tokyo National Institute of Maritime. Prof. Khiem regularly participated International Modal Analysis Conference (IMAC) as a member of Society of Experimental Mechanics.
