It must balance its strength that comes from himself, and this emergency force that comes to him from others, and for that reason I used to publish these chapters on Sundays, and publish chapters on ancient Arabic literature on Wednesdays, thus balancing between reviving ancient literature and enriching it with what I presented to it from the material of modern European literature. To me, some success has been written for me in these steps, which I took in those bitter sweet years, which I remember now with much love and tenderness, and with much satisfaction and pride. Because they were the years of the true Egyptian Renaissance; Because these were the years of true Egyptian freedom, which was filled with nothing but truth and public benefit.
