Moonflower: Depths of Ecstasy-the third book in The Thighs Trilogy-is a work of fiction for broad-minded adults Set on a North American prairie in the final years of the twentieth century and the first twelve years of this century, it is the story of Jayson Meyer, a teacher who is inspired to keep a journal such as one that has come into his hands-an old journal that tells him of things that are not strange to him. He has a certain predilection that troubles him. His affinity with one of his students who challenges his thinking brings him into conflict with a school administrator who has her own partiality. His future is placed in jeopardy. Can he redeem his tarnished reputation? Will he be able to find a new way to pursue his career? One of the people involved in the second book of this trilogy is a crucial living link in this story. As this drama unfolds, past lives and proclivities come into clearer focus. Several issues of the current social, political and psychological wrangle come in to play in the intense unfolding of the personal problems faced by various characters. Even the former ghost of the first two books of this trilogy has to deal with one such thorny concern. Could there be a solution for all the people involved? Intrinsic to the plot is a comparatively mild eroticism here and there, but the story as a whole (more than 63,000 words) could hardly be categorized as erotic.
