If you're not afraid of taking a humble leap out of you're theological sandbox; if you dare take a step outside the cloistered walls of your spiritual monastery; or if you're curious enough to sneak a peak beyond the hallowed, stained glass windows of your denomination structure; then please, please, pick up this book and read it! A treasure chest of passionate insight and understanding of one who has dared to take a hike beyond the well-guarded playground fill the pages. The parables of Jesus are a recording of God's intention for His children and a wonderful revelation of His invitation for His beloved to bask in the warmth and contentment of His abundance and liberty. Liberated from the lust and folly of "self-righteousness" the author lays out in charming simplicity the only thing which ultimately really matters - the "work" of God on the cross and beyond the empty tomb!

Autorenporträt
Roger is an avid putzer, sports junkie, non-earth-muffin food junkie (he likes his junk food), creator of ingenious works of art like calligraphy, doodling, needlework, stained glass projects, intarsia (stained glass with wood), unique picture framing and matting, wood-working projects of furniture and other wooden toys and joys with architectural drawings. Roger has gained a wealth of experience and insight from years spent in the industries of religion and business. He holds a Bachelor of Theology from North American Baptist College in Edmonton, Alberta, and has served in various roles in a number of different church scenarios. He spent close to 50 years in the automotive industry, holding virtually every position in a dealership, from car washer, parts truck driver, to parts/service manager, to ownership. Bored with his second retirement Roger works for the fun of it, for the time being, in the fridge of a grocery chain dealing with eggs, milk, juice, and sometimes with bread and cashiering when he needs to warm up. After living most of their married life in beautiful British Columbia Roger and Donna moved to beautiful Billing, Montana. Also making the move to Montana were their son Richard, his wife Sharla, and youngins Ryan and Keira, as well as their daughter Mandi. All together! Living the dream! Roger's other contribution to the literary world is a provocative, major theological treatise, a translation and commentary based upon the writings of the most prolific contributor to the New Testament entitled... "BUT..an unauthorized autobiography of the Apostle Paul." It is very long, however, it explains his theological position and the journey of discovery that has led to a fresh perspective of the grace and mercy of God. You owe it to yourself to read an eye-popping alternative to what you've been taught. Roger would consider invitations for speaking engagements. He can be contacted at : rogerrapske@gmail.com
