Bonnie Baumgartner is an active community member, wife, and mother of three children. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Illinois State University and incorporates compassion and social-emotional elements into her writing. In addition to writing children's books, Bonnie does freelance marketing and website design. Prior to authorship, Bonnie had many careers, including; marketing director, 911 operator, citywide events coordinator, and non-profit director. She draws inspiration from many of these experiences and her family. Mother Moon is Bonnie Baumgartner's debut children's book. The story celebrates the special bond between mother and daughter and hopes to inspire children to follow their dreams, the importance of kindness, voicing their opinions, and being brave.
