The town begins to learn the identity of Mrs. Bambi, and Richard is threatened and humiliated in public. Despite the pleas of his editor, his friends, and Pam, he stubbornly refuses to stop writing the column.

This unusual story mixes romance, suspense, and loss with Mrs. Bambi's unique sense of humor.
