Autorenporträt
Fely Heinz was born in the Philippines where she finished her Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies at Foundation University. Heinz worked with children with disabilities back in her home town for over 3 years until she moved to United States in 2008. Her passion for working with children never stopped and continues working with young children up until now and finds her job as a daycare teacher truly meaningful because she is able to take good care of the children, teach them academically so that when they go to school they will be prepared to face the challenges, guide them to know the difference between right and wrong, encourage them to socialize with other children in order to develop their social skills and motivate them to keep trying to build up their confidence. Being there for the children is significantly a wonderful experience for her to watch them grow, learn, and be ready to the next chapter of their life. Throughout these years that Heinz has been working with young children, she realized there was still something missing and found writing to fill that need and came up with a story about Ms. Fely Presents John and the Banana. This book is very special for her and she hopes that young children will get a lesson from it.
