Dr. Zhang is an Associate Professor at Florida Atlantic University in the Department of Geosciences. She received her Ph.D. in Geospatial Information Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas. She has a Masters and Bachelors in Marine Biolgy which she acquired at the Ocean University of China.
