This book presents computational methods to be used for multiscale and multiphysics applications, bolstered with example cases. It discusses the finite element method, boundary element method, molecular dynamics, cellular automata, and lattice Boltzmann method. The author highlights the pros and cons of each technique. He also covers proper coupling techniques to apply multiple computational techniques together in order to solve multiscale and/or multiphysics problems. The book also contains some example computer programs to demonstrate the techniques discussed.
