Produktbeschreibung
Peter Keats, an archaeologist, discovers an unknown woman asleep at the foot of the colossi of Abu Simbel. With no memory of who she is and no ID documents, she quickly appears as a living enigma.
Peter, touched by her plight, asks his friend Kenneth, a psychologist on sabbatical at Abu Simbel to help her. Kenneth doesn't agree with this suggestion, and the stranger recoils at the idea of being treated by hypnosis for her amnesia.
Abdul Arif, the police chief, begins an exhaustive search for the stranger's identity.
Then, an unexpected, brutal murder occurs at Abu Simbel. Soon, confusing parallels between this crime and the amnesiac woman emerge.
While Abdul works to find the murderer, the mysterious woman finally agrees to begin treatment with Kenneth. Under hypnosis, she discloses some disturbing connections between herself and the murder victim.
But do her statements really relate to the murder? Or are they just expressing her internal torment? Or is she traveling back through time under hypnosis, to the Egypt of the Pharaohs and events that happened thousands of years ago?
Reality? Fantasy? Who is this secret woman?
These are the dizzying mysteries that the psychologist and the police chief have to unravel in this multi-layered enigma.

Autorenporträt
I'm a Belgian writer, it means that I live in the country which is usually associated with chocolade, fries, waffles, beer, but also Simenon, Magritte and Tintin... also Blake and Mortimer inspiring "Murder at Abu Simbel" !

Professionaly, I am a clinical psychologist, trained in psychoanalysis and hypnosis.
Before writing I was a very passionate reader but never imagine I would be an author. I first published a humoristic story which was a mix of "Star Wars" and reality show: "Stars War Academy" (2004). In the same time, I wrote screenplays that have won prizes from Writemovies.com in L.A [monthly contest: "Le jour où le Grand Esprit se mit à chanter" (2003) and "Un amour de bonobo" (2009)]. Then, I published a detective novel "Requiem en OGM mineur" (2010) and an erotic novel "Delirium eroticum" (2013)
Then I self-published three esoteric and suspense novels "La dormeuse d'Abou Simbel"(which was translated in English by "Murder at Abu Simbel"), "la Partition oubliée" (the main theme of this novel is an opera inspired by the Kabbalah) and "Madeleine et Proust, les aventuriers du temps perdu" (the heroes are traveling into past lives and have to face threats in present time) and also multiple detective novels.
