It is a little over a year since the end of the Earth Wars. The wars began when the beings known as Earthlings left their planet. They came not to explore but to conquer. The Earthling seemed to think the universe was theirs for the taking. They managed to conquer many planets, plundering them for anything of value. It was the creation of the Unification of Planets that turned the tide. The Earthlings were forced back to their own world. Lost in their lust for revenge, the Unification Planets did the unthinkable. They destroyed the Earth. It was only a few minutes after the destruction did they realize the horror of what they had done. There were now a mere few thousands of Earthling left in the universe. Most drifted from planet to planet trying not to be notice and avoid trouble. One Earthling managed to save the life of Lady Venusun, one the most power beings in the university. She takes him on as her problem solver. Her Golden Halo is the pride of her fleet of ships. When someone murders a passenger with title and wealth. The Earthling is tasked with finding the murderer. This horrifies other passengers. Everyone knows you can't trust an Earthling. Everyone but the Princess Deela, who has not hidden her love of all things connected to the Earth even going as far to wear clothes and shoes from it. The young princess decides to help the Earthling solve the crime. The Earthling needs all the help he can get. Many on the ship would have no problem blaming the Earthling for the murder.
