During the time that they had been living in this neighborhood Decker meets a young girl who he becomes rather close friends with who does not realize just what kind of trouble Decker's parents could actually be throughout that entire time. Arizona and Colt eventually start having parties where gambling becomes a big part of it. Stephanie's parents start attending these parties and gambling not realizing that they would end up gambling away their daughter's right to choose who she would eventually marry. When Decker admits to his parents that he is gay trouble starts brewing causing Decker to make a very big decision that will eventually change his life forever.

Heidi K. Smith is the author of the Arranged Marriage Chronicles series. She is currently living in the city of Rome, New York, with her mother and Jack Russell Terrier, Treasure. She has been interested in writing ever since she was in elementary school and had started writing a variety of short stories for the different writing and English classes that she had been taking throughout the entire time that she was in school. When Heidi is not writing and publishing her books and stories she usually spends her time with her family and friends doing a variety of different things. She likes reading different books and spending time talking to her friends on different social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter depending on the amount of time that she had throughout that entire time. She plans on writing another book after she finishes writing My Arranged Marriage to a Vampire which she is hoping will be as interesting of a series as some of the books that she has read over the years.
