My birds are my lovers, my friends, my enemies, the lawmakers, or the politicians. They all contribute to make the living space the way it is. My Beloved Birds is designed to raise consciousness about how people behave in the community. Peoples behaviors are seeds to their countries and even affect the planet. If positive seeds are sown, the outcome is fructuous to the living species. The opposite is also true.

Dr. Serge Valcourt is the author of several poetry books. He embarked in the poetry boat at the age of fourteen. Since then, he has written numerous poems for his school magazines, community newspapers, and radio shows. Many of his poems have won prizes on various poetry contests. He has earned a doctoral degree in metaphysical science. He lives in Connecticut with his wife, Carolle, and his two children.
