These poems are a firsthand account of the events, thoughts and feelings experienced on Polish soil during the conflict of World War II by Mr. Walter Zagaja, who passed away March 17, 1996. They were translated into English from a diary he kept. Mr. Zagaja was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Polish Branch No. 412 and the Polish Army Veterans Association S.W.A.P. No. 172.

Christina is an administrative assistant by day and an energy healing practitioner, at other times. Christina was born in Kitchener, Ontario and lives in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
