Autorenporträt
Kathryn Anne Michaels is the author of the non-fiction bestseller Wednesday's Children, Memoirs of a Nurse-turned-social-worker in Rural Appalachia. A retired family practice nurse, social worker, EMT, ski patroller and whitewater river guide, the author draws from years of outdoor experience to give Tod, the Angel of Death-and the reader-an exciting ride to heaven, hell, and back again by way of some of the most beautiful rivers and hikes in the world. When not up in the mountains, on ski slopes or whitewater rivers, Kathryn and her geologist husband work on their ruminant rescue farm on a small island in the Pacific Northwest.
