Barb Leis was born in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. She was one of six children, and Barb and her twin were the youngest. Her parents moved to Tomah, Wisconsin, where her dad found a job working at Usemco as a welder untill he retired. Her mom workered at a truck stop as a waitress. She credits growing up in the country, her strong faith in God, and her family as most important to life. Barb has three children.
