Autorenporträt

Eberhard Braune wurde 1941 in Schwerin (Mecklenburg) geboren und flüchtete 1951 mit den Eltern aus der DDR. Kurz darauf wanderten sie nach Südwestafrika aus. Der Autor war fortan in Afrika als Hydrologe in der Wasserentwicklung und -forschung tätig, in den letzten Jahren an einem UNESCO-Lehrstuhl der University of Western Cape in Kapstadt. ¿Mein Sonn und Schild¿ ist sein erstes in unserem Haus vorliegendes Buch. Der glückliche Vater von drei Kindern verbringt seine Freizeit in der Natur mit Zelten und Wandern.
