This is a book about my son, Mark. We all have pain/sorrow in our lives upon the loss of a loved one. This became a reality when I lost my son unexpectedly, leaving a void in my life that is still there. We moved to a Campground for a quiet time where we met wonderful people. A church where I found peace/comfort/understanding and my calling to write. We planted a tree and it is now big and strong. I began writing poetry, like a therapy to me. It seemed to bring me closer to my son. God guided my words, showed me how precious life and the time He gives us with loved ones is. God said that death does not separate us but unites us.

People began asking me to write poems for them, so I began my writing. Without them and God, there would be no book.

Autorenporträt
I live in Santee, S.C., was born in Kentucky, graduated in Camden, Ohio from Shawnee High School. After graduation, I joined the Navy. I met my husband, married, and a Navy wife. I have four children; 3 sons and a daughter. Now, I have 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.We moved a lot, met many wonderful people, and learned a lot. I learned we are all looking for the same thing, Love/Peace/Understanding/Friendship. The poems I wrote were from my heart. I want them to go on and on. God says even after death, life goes on.I felt others' pain, yes, and mine. This was my therapy. I pray if, in some way, you find yourself in one of my poems that they will in some way touch you too.Twenty (20) years later, we still live on the Campground, go to the same church. This is my next step down that road, but God willing, we will be here for a few more years. This is my home, my next and the last step will be when God calls me to step into His Heavenly Home.
