Jack Shilkret taught high school and community college for fifty years in Maryland. He holds degrees from the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University Graduate School of Education. After teaching high school for four years, Jack rose from instructor to full professor at Anne Arundel Community College. He and his wife, Ruthie, reside in Maryland.
