Autorenporträt
Monni Conley has wanted a horse since childhood. When she was in the second grade, she won first place for a picture she painted of her dream horse. She started riding when she was eight years old but never had her horse. She studied horses, took many pictures of horses, until one day, when she was able to purchase her own horse. Now, she has three horses, including her quarter horse Haidus Lil Coco, from Texas. She has everyone's heart. She rides several times a week, weather permitting. Her horses live at her home on the acreage and loves carrots given by all the neighbors. Monni has written articles and teaching manuals, but she loves writing for children, as she used to tell bedtime stories to her sons and daughter when they were small. Monni is a life coach and spiritual advisor, retired from Southern Bell telephone and Northwestern Bell.
