Marie L. McLaughlin (1842-1936) was an American linguist, ethnographer, and folklorist who made significant contributions to Native American studies. The author's works are unique and passionate, bringing readers to different worlds and emotions. Their writing assists people in connecting with and understanding one another. She was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, on May 15, 1842, and died on November 8, 1936. She devoted the majority of her life to researching and documenting their culture, mythology, tales, and languages.
