In the line with the structuralistic perspective which aims to analyse an social phenomenon as an symbolic system it is suggested that those things are rejected which shows an anbiguous character. On this foundation the author explains the reason for eatable and non eatable foodcombinations and shows how and why our disgustion can be provocated. At the end it is discussed if the social change of our consuming behaviour contradict the theoretical point of view.
