Produktbeschreibung
Carbon frequently surprises the scientific community with its unique features and applications. Carbon nanomaterials play a crucial role in our modern civilisation, and it is nearly impossible to imagine functional commercial aspects of the internet, mobile phone, optical fibre, pharma-biomedical, space, defence, automobile and textile industries without carbon materials.

This research text presents the synthesis, characterisation, and advanced technological applications of novel nanocarbons, with a focus on graphane, graphyne, graphdiyne, graphene nanoribbon, onion like carbons and carbon nanotori. It covers the applications of novel nanocarbons in solar cells, flexible electronics, supercapacitor batteries and next-generation energy storage devices. It also provides new updates on the effect of doping and structural twist on the electrochemical performance of electrode materials based on novel nanocarbons. References for further research and application-oriented innovation using these new carbon nanostructures are also included.

Written by a range of experts, this book provides a single platform to study and explore the cutting-edge-research in the field. This book will appeal to researchers and graduate students working with novel nanocarbon allotropes, including disciplines such as physics, chemistry, materials science, and chemical engineering.
