Arbind Prasad earned his PhD (mechanical engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Assam, India. He is a gold medalist in his MTech. He is currently working as an assistant professor and head (mechanical engineering) in the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education, Government of Bihar, at Katihar Engineering College, Katihar, Bihar, India. He holds four granted patents in his research work. He has 15 international journal papers, edited 9 books (Wiley, Elsevier, AAP, De Gruyter, and CRC Press (Taylor & Francis) USA), 35 book chapters, and 15 reputed international conference papers to his credit. Dr. Prasad has obtained various prestigious awards such as the Sponsored Research Industrial Consultancy (SRIC) award from IIT Kanpur, Best Oral Presentation from the American Chemical Society, and Best Paper awards from IIT Guwahati during Research Conclave. He has completed numerous projects funded by the State Government. He is an associate editor for the International Journal of Materials, Manufacturing and Sustainable Technologies (IJMMST) and an early career editor for the International Journal of Mathematical, Engineering and Management Sciences (IJMEMS) indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index/Scopus and Directory of Open Access Journals. He is an editorial board member of various international journals and acts as an active review board member of ten prestigious (indexed in Science Citation Index/Science Citation Index Expanded/Scopus) and guest editor in special issues of international journals with high impact factor i.e. Bioengineering, Journal of Design, Materials, Journal of functional materials, Molecules, etc. His main areas of research include resorbable polymers, recycling of biodegradable polymers, healthcare devices, Implants, biomaterials, materials processing, design, and manufacturing techniques of biomedical implants. He is also a lifetime member of the Society for Polymer Science India, the Materials Research Society of India, the Society for Biomaterials and Artificial Organs of India, the Asian Polymer Association, and the Indian Society for Technical Education. Pramod Kumar received his PhD degree from the University of Delhi, India. He served as an assistant professor at the Department of Chemistry, at Ramjas College, University of Delhi (2014-2020). His research interests include nanomedicine, specializing in the use of inorganic-based and gold nanoparticles for applications in targeted drug delivery, non-viral gene delivery, photodynamic therapy, photothermal therapy, in vitro diagnostics, and multimodal diagnostic imaging. Current research interests include hybrid nanoparticles, hydrogel nanoparticles, and quantum dots for triggered drugs, bioimaging/biosensors, and gene delivery for the treatment of cancer, respiratory and neurological diseases. His teaching areas are nanomaterials and nanocomposites, quantum mechanics, atomic structure and spectroscopy, chemical kinetics and reaction dynamics, group theory, photochemistry, electrochemistry, principles of instrumentation of NMR/ESR/Mossbauer and nuclear quadrupole resonance spectroscopy. He has been awarded a National Eligibility Test - Junior Research Fellowship in Chemical Science and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Fellowship in Chemistry. He has published more than 25 articles in leading scientific journals. Currently, he is an assistant professor of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Sciences, at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh (India) and has supervised 18 dissertations to date. Along with these, four students are pursuing their PhDs under his supervision.
