'Nanoscience and Nanotechnology' explores the fundamentals of nanomaterials and discloses their direct applications to the biomedical field. It focuses on the fundamental properties associated with developing biomedical technologies in three parts; prevention, diagnostics, and therapeutics. To easily prevent infectious diseases, advances in various nanotechnological cure site-specific cancer treatments, enhance drug delivery at specific points in care and are associated with minimizing the side effects of drugs and drug carriers. Other Focus Areas Include: * The investigation of numerous breakthroughs made possible by nanotechnology in the treatment of site-specific cancers * The role of phospholipids and how they self-assemble into spheres with diameters varying from tens to hundreds of nanometers * PEG functionalization of nanocarriers reduces the toxicity of the nanocarriers as well as prevents them from clumping together * Explores the potential therapeutic applications of nanotheranostics in the distant future
