What is the meaning of nationalism and how has it changed in the last centuries? Another interesting point is how the people of today would conceive their national identity, maybe in Sweden and Germany. Are there similarities or even well-defined limits?

Roman Behrens, B.A., M.A., MBA, arbeitet an der Universität Oldenburg und hat im Herbst 2013 seine Arbeit zur nationalsozialistischen Militärpsychiatrie in der deutschen Kriegsmarine veröffentlicht. Neben seiner Tätigkeit in der internationalen Bildungsarbeit forscht er parallel zu ehemaligen Wehrmachtspsychiatern, ihrem Einfluss auf die Entwicklung der westdeutschen Militärpsychiatrie nach 1945 sowie zu Webinaren in der betrieblichen Bildung. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in der Medizin- und Kirchengeschichte sowie dem Bildungs- und Wissenschaftsmanagement.
