Autorenporträt
Born in an Italian family and raised on a colonial African farm, Silvana de Toti Soissons is a gardener, cook, herb grower and natural skincare product maker at Farm Soap Co. During her university days she worked in Culpeper's Herbalist shop in Bath and so began a lifelong passion and research of the multi-tasking power of herbs. Silvana has mostly worked in food and lifestyle retailing, latterly setting up the shops and toiletries range at The Newt In Somerset, as well as owning her own businesses - The Foodie Bugle in Bath, whose blog won The Guild Of Food WritersNew Media Award (2012) and Farm Soap Co. in Dorset. She is a regular contributor to The Simple Things, Cedar and Nonsuch magazines.
