Geoffrey Till was formerly Dean of Academic Studies at the UK Joint Services Command and Staff College, and is currently Professor of Maritime Studies in the Defence Studies Department and Director of the Corbett Centre for Maritime Policy, King's College London, at the UK Joint Services Command and Staff College. He is author of a number of books including Seapower (Routledge, 2004, 2009, 2013), Air Power and the Royal Navy, Maritime Strategy and the Nuclear Age, and The Development of British Naval Thinking (Routledge). Jane Chan is a Research Fellow and Coordinator of the Maritime Security Programme at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
