Cathryn Falwell is the award-winning author/illustrator of more than 25 picture books for children, which have received such recognition as Bank Street College's Best Books of the Year list, the Children's Literature Choice Award, a Sesame Street Recommended Book, Parents Guide Children's Media Award, NCTE Notable Children's Book in the Language Arts, a Texas 2x2 Book, and the Maine Lupine Honor Award. She is best known for her books that celebrate diversity, creativity, and nature, including Feast for 10, Turtle Splash, and Rainbow Stew. She lives in Maine, where she creates quilts and collages.
