He was only repeating his senior year of school for one reason, and that was to finally get on with his future. Raised in Rýkr, Easton wasn't like the rest of the people in the world. In fact, the entire town of Rýkr and its people weren't like the rest of the world's population.

Born with special abilities, the town's population keep to themselves and follow the monarchy that rules the picturesque Northern California town. However, with Easton being a member of Rýkr's monarchy, he's gifted with more than one special talent just like the rest of his family. Still, when he puts those abilities to the test, he realizes that Neve Lively isn't an option so much as a necessity.

When the word destiny isn't just a fanciful idea anymore...
Witnessing her sister find her soulmate, Neve's stubbornness knows no bounds. Determined to call her own shots, she refuses to surrender to a certain brown-haired, blue-eyed jerk, never mind that he's the most gorgeous guy that she has ever seen before. It doesn't matter. Seriously.

Witnessing his brother claim the love of his life, Easton refuses to believe that he can't have the same thing for himself. No matter how much the raven-haired, blue-eyed viper fights him, he knows enough to know that he's not giving up. She's meant to be his, and that's the end of it.

While Neve is fighting against her newfound reality and the bitterness that threatens to choke her, Easton is doing everything he can to make Neve his for good, and he's not taking any prisoners.
