The mission from the Pope began at San Pedro's cathedral in Caracas with a TV personality (wife) in a top military family in Venezuela, where the author wrote a web page to President Chavez saying what he must do to make Venezuela great with its oil prosperity. But stop destroying private enterprise in the name of Castro and Bolivar. Chavez didn't heed the call. So the wife and family fled to Florida while the nation feeds on cats, dogs and flamingos. This book is not about religion- but the Idea of Christ as a singularity over the Americas like the Monroe Doctrine. The author was 'sent' by the Pope in 2003 while teaching English in Spain.
