Evangelist Joan Paterson was born and raised in the beautiful island of Grenada. She considers her walk with God and family very much important to her. If she isn't spending time in the garden or with her friends and family, you can almost always find her reading a book. As a woman who was uneducated, she depended on God as her source. With great persistence and determination God delivered her from the bondage of educational slavery in 2011. She had breakthroughs that brought about powerful transformation in her life. It was a wakeup call from the Lord when the spirit of God said to her "this is a new awakening in the spirit and that He (God) will do a new work within her'. It was amazing! There after she felt the pumping of the holy spirit of God to write her vision, so she embraced the opportunity of this once in a life time experience to share her life's journey in her first published book called a "New Awakening".
