Produktbeschreibung
Highlighting the national identity of the "Turkish" people after centuries of the Ottoman regime was a major cultural battle for intellectuals and politicians in modern Turkey, and perhaps still is, through literary texts written in the modern Turkish language. A radical change occurred in the Turkish language as the Turks embraced Islam, and the alphabet also differed. ; They began to use Persian and Arabic because they were influenced by Islam. The Turks were interested in the Ottoman works that were written in the Arabic alphabet during the Ottoman era, and they were interested in printing and publishing literary thought that was influenced by Persian literature, especially Diwan literature. As for what is called the literature of love and lamentations, it lost its strength due to the influence of modernity, in the face of the language revolution that came after Diwani literature and brought the Turkish language to the forefront, and the Ottoman language as a literary genre was abandoned with the changing literary currents. Modern Turkish literature contains all literary genres, such as the short story, novel, literary criticism, literary essay, poetry, and theater. Although the effects of modernity are present in general, the effects of post-modernism are widely observed. Therefore, this book represents a view of Turkish literature through a diary whose author expresses human awareness, which enhances the role of creativity in building the human being and achieves the joy of multifaceted human culture.
