Autorenporträt
Karen Hudgins has always loved stories and their special place in people's lives. Originally from Lancaster County, Pa, she lives in Colorado after spending parts of her life in Missouri, Texas, and Florida. They all have made contributions to the seven single-title contemporary romance novels she first wrote and her current five mystery novellas, where the setting helps form her stories. She's a mom and grandma and also likes botanical photography. Art often shows up in her books. She's been a member of national writer organizations and local writer groups. Discussing novel writing with other writers or readers gives her joy. She volunteers at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center and the Beulah History Center. The Beulah Book Club I offers her time to spend with readers and to read outside her genre. Murder at Marigold Mesa is her fifth mystery featuring Diane Phipps, P.I. who determinedly finds out whodunit for a happy ending...another of Karen's story hallmarks.
