Two couples came for winter hunting in an abandoned village in the Smolensk region. Having fun, shooting game. On the day of departure, the car did not start. Soon a lost lone hunter knocked on the door, and the next morning one of the girls disappeared. Such is the plot of this thriller, written in a tradition dating back to the medieval Italian short story, Boccaccio's Decameron.
