About the Author

'No End to the Trouble' is Gordon Wallace's fourth novel, following on from 'La Maison du Maître', 'A Scent of Suspicion' and 'A Slippery Slope'. He has always wanted to write and family members have frequently told him that "there is a novel in you" but during his working career he never found the time to focus on it. However, becoming disabled at the age of sixty eight has given him that time, an unexpected bonus at a difficult period in his life. The lockdowns caused by Covid19 were an even greater incentive to write this book, enabling him to escape mentally, if not physically from their restrictions. Before becoming disabled he was fortunate to have spent some of his early retirement travelling with friends and this time is reflected in the latest of his George Waterstone adventures.
