Autorenporträt
Markus Arnold, Jahrgang 1966, studierte BWL an der Universität Passau und promovierte dort anschließend mit einem wirtschaftspolitischen Schwerpunkt. Seit vielen Jahren ist er als Führungskraft bei einem weltweit tätigen Unternehmen beschäftigt. Von Mitte 2019 bis Ende 2021 war er gemeinsam mit seiner Familie als Expat in Shanghai. Aufgewachsen in Niederbayern, unweit der Nahtstelle zum Warschauer Pakt während des Kalten Krieges, und schon in jungen Jahren in West und Ost unterwegs, interessiert er sich seit jeher für Politik.
