Die Autorin Marika Albrecht wurde 1979 in Baar in der Schweiz geboren und wuchs als Einzelkind auf. Die Erfahrungen, die sie bisher in ihrem bewegten Leben machte, reichen, um mehrere Leben damit auszufüllen. Seit ihre Tochter das Licht der Welt erblickte, liebt sie es, ihr Geschichten zu erzählen. Das brachte sie auch zum Schreiben. Nach ihrer ersten Krebsdiagnose 2021 fand sie es an der Zeit, ihre eigenen Gedanken und Erfahrungen zu Papier zu bringen.
