Autorenporträt
I was born in North London, in 1966, the second of three children. I was schooled in Edmonton and Enfield until the age of 18. I have a degree in Applied Chemistry and Masters degree in Training & Human Resource Management. I have worked in a variety of roles including; running my own recruitment consultancy business, working in prisons and with ex-offenders as an Employment/Training Adviser, working as a Training & Development Manager, Community Safety Consultant and in my final job as the Deputy Chief Executive of a multi-million pound neighbourhood regeneration programme where I had overall responsibility for project delivery, partnership working and Human Resource issues. In February 2006; I completed the circle and returned to self-employment and now works as a writer as well as operating my own management consultancy firm. I am married and they have two lovely children. So how did I get started researching the field of natural health and wellbeing? Well, it started with a small shock when my brother was diagnosed with high blood pressure in his early thirties. Now, the good news is that by changing his diet, especially reducing his salt intake, he was able to get it back to normal in a few months, however the initial diagnosis was a shock and it stuck in my mind. Then just over ten years ago my father had a heart attack, which he thankfully recovered from, and which again led to him altering his diet with positive results. These events crystallized in my mind the connection between health and nutrition and lifestyle. I started to do research, changed my diet and improved my health. At 45 I can do 90 press-ups without pause and weigh the same as I did in my mid 20s. I have shown friends how they can improve their health and wellbeing with great results and want to reach as many people as possible with this life changing information.
