At four days old, Kara Belle had her first experience with reading a booka soft, simple, yet colorful book about a princess. With more booksbedtime stories that I made up as I wentand her amazement in the world around her, Kara Belles interest has continued to grow. At two, she was creating her own stories at bedtime and was always eager to share them. One night, as we snuggled in with a book, she told me that she would like to write her own book. She said this should be a book about a butterfly that would teach people that that they can do anything. We hope you enjoy this book as much as we enjoyed writing it. As residents of Madison, Georgia, Heather and Kara Belle Bleau are surrounded by opportunities to explore and learn about the world around them. Seeing God's grace in the morning skies, the lake sunsets, flowers, birds and baby goats gives them both time to stop and listen quietly to the beauty of nature. Growing up, Heather has enjoyed writing poetry, inspired by her grandfather, Wayne Hix, for as long as she can remember. His encouragement to express life's experiences both good and bad, through writing, has helped her overcome many obstacles. He is an avid writer, sharing the word of God with everyone he meets by simply handing them a poem he has written.
