Autorenporträt
Indian born and raised, Suki spent her entire adulthood until the age of 36 in India, eating, cooking and relishing the diverse Indian cuisine, before she came to live in the UK. She is Punjabi Sikh, and chicken has always been part of her dining table culture. Her recipes are inspired by her Punjabi "murgh" (chicken) loving family, which included her gentle and beautiful maternal grandmother, her two massis (mum's sisters) and her hero, her mum. Suki founded Suki's Curries and Spices with a mission to give other Indian food lovers the real taste of India. She regularly gives demos at food festivals across the UK and has over 20,000 followers on Instagram. Suki featured on Jamie Oliver's Great Cookbook Challenge in 2022.
