Autorenporträt

Nocturnal by nature, Bev Walton-Porter has been a professional writer, editor, and writing instructor since May 1997.

Bev has published several books, including Sun Signs for Writers, Aim To Write: Tips & Tricks for Freeing the Scribe Within, Mending Fences, Hidden Fire, Secrets of the Professional Freelancer, Shadows of the Soul, and Nocturnal Musings: A Collection of Ponderings, Essays, and Short Stories. Bev also co-authored The Complete Writer: A Guide to Tapping Your Full Potential.

She has been a member of The Authors Guild, Romance Writers of America, Pikes Peak Writers, The National Writers Union, The Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA), and the American Indian Science and Engineering Society.

Married with two adult children (one of whom is also a professional writer) and an adorable grandson, Bev's hobbies include reading, watching documentaries, researching obscure and/or weird subjects, listening to music, playing World of Warcraft, crocheting, traveling, and hanging out with her beloved fur babies - one Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Rottweiler mix and three Border Collie mixes.
