Lauren Windle is a speaker and journalist, published by Vogue, Red Magazine, Mail Online, Huffington Post, The Sun Online, Fabulous Digital, Marie Claire, The Star and Church Times. She is seven years clean and sober from a cocaine and alcohol addiction. She has a Masters in Addiction Studies, runs a charity recovery course for people struggling with addiction and in 2018 gave a TEDx Talk her personal story or addiction and recovery, which now has 300k views. Her debut book Notes on Love: Dating and Being Single in a Marriage Obsessed Church, published by SPCK was released in July 2021.
